When I became engaged I knew exactly who I wanted to capture the day! Melani had photographed a friend's wedding and I was blown away by her style, esthetic and warm nature. Thankfully she was available for my day! By far the BEST vendor I worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process. The images she captured are breathtaking. Her eye sees precious vignettes of not only the bride and groom but of all our loved guests. Our day was documented beautifully and we have more favorite images then we ever hoped for! The best decision we made was booking Melani.

It was with some curiosity and anxiety George and I walked towards the Love sign to meet you yesterday. We have both loved your work, your website, and your video. We wondered if you would be demanding and stern photographer (like our mothers when taking photos), or if you would be one of those fashion photographers that would say "make love to the camera" (with a French accent of course) or if you would be journalistic and make us try to figure out the frames and shots we want (which would be worst case for us, since we know nothing of photography). You have surprised us with your energy, your enthusiasm, your creative eye, and most of all your ability to make us feel at ease. Even though I usually hate to be the center of attention and become very self-conscious when people walking by stared, but yesterday, I didn't even notice all those other people, because I was having so much fun with my fiance and you! :)  
I am SO glad we did this session for many reasons, and we truly had a blast! Like Krista had told us before, it is like a "therapy session" especially with the myriad of last minute wedding planning details, it is nice to just forget about everything else and focus on George and I for a day :)

Choosing Melani and her team to photograph our wedding was literally one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. To say that she did a great job would be an understatement. I cannot stop looking at the photos that she and her team took. I have lost hours of work productivity because they are so beautiful to look at! They are absolutely perfect and absolutely true to me and my husband's relationship with each other. Aside from the remarkable photos, Melani was a joy to work with. Her energy level is off-the-charts. She always seemed to be in the right place to catch the right shot…even if that mean stealthily zipping across the room! My wedding was also a bit complicated because it was a multicultural wedding, Hindu-Indian and Catholic. She handled this seamlessly. Both of our families loved the pictures and thought she captured the significance of the ceremonies well. That's no easy task, but she definitely delivered. From the very first meeting, Melani was just the nicest and most approachable person. She seemed to really care about getting to know our story and what the wedding would be like. She also had me hooked with words like "lighting assistant." She really takes her job seriously and her passion really comes though in her work. It was really easy to trust her with capturing our memories. I worried about a lot of things on the day of the wedding, but I didn't worry about photography for a second. I felt completely at ease that the photos were going to be fantastic, and I was right! I would entusiastically recommend Melani for brides-to-be.

Nothing more I can say than fantastic, fabulous, superb, wonderful, stunning. Without a doubt, the best decision I made when planning my wedding was using Melani Lust Photography. She went above and beyond to create a stress-free day. Highly, highly recommend - not only will you get the most beautiful photographs imaginable, you will feel important, special, and cared for. Throughout our celebrations, Melani's energy was unstoppable and her attention to detail was amazing. She truly understood our style and knew exactly how to capture our personalities and the entire feel of the day. Melani photographed our engagement shoot and wedding day and the resulting photos were above and beyond all expectations. I always knew that if I got married I desperately wanted Melani to photograph the wedding. Simply put - Melani sees through to the soul and captures it. Her style is beautiful and evocative, timeless yet contemporary. She does what she calls 'creatives' with the couple, where you go somewhere meaningful to the couple and she captures just the two of you there. She is also uncanny at capturing that moment with your grandmother in law at the ceremony or the wonderful body language between you and your father in law as you dance. My mother is notorious for not photographing well - Melani took the best shot I've ever seen of her. As others have said, she has the most incredible energy and a buoyant personality - which makes everything a breeze, especially getting the formal shots and groupings a breeze.

Melani has great energy. She is upbeat and energetic and committed to delivering on what she's promised. The wedding pictures from her are absolutely lovely. She conducted an engagement setting for us and those photos were amazing. I briefly considered a career in modeling then realized it was just her making me look that good. You should definitely meet with her and talk about your vision for the day to be sure you align on styles. She was a perfect match for what I wanted for my day. We are very happy with having chosen Melani.

I am speechless... I cannot tell you how much I loved having you document our day...these beautiful pictures make the event go from surreal to real. Your pictures are circulating around the world and are causing quite a sensation. I am awed by your work...I honestly have never seen such photographs. Your presence was so unobtrusive, yet you somehow made the day go so smoothly, everything you did, from pulling the thread off my daughter's dress, to popping up everywhere, on chairs, in the balcony, everywhere, was worth every penny and more. You were invaluable to my wedding, I cannot imagine it without you!!!
